Our Story

In 2010, Jason Shepherd embarked on a journey into the electrical industry. What began as an apprenticeship in North Dakota's oil field, swiftly blossomed into a career rich with diverse experiences and constant learning. Back then, opportunities were scarce, but Jason's relentless pursuit of knowledge and growth led him to accept a job over a phone call, and move into an apartment sight unseen all within the same week. 

Over the next five years, North Dakota would become a home where Jason honed his skills in the field, and together with his wife Nicole, they expanded their family with two children and a third on the way. The journey led them back to Washington, where Jason worked extensively in both small and large-scale commercial construction, further broadening his expertise in the electrical industry. 

In the summer of 2021, the Shepherds moved to Meridian, ID. Fueled by his passion for the industry and a desire to provide high-quality service to the people of Meridian, Jason founded Tree City Power Solutions. As a Master Electrician with expertise in the Solar industry, Jason brings to the company a wealth of industry knowledge and a deep commitment to customer service and satisfaction. The story of Tree City Power Solutions is one of passion, perseverance, and dedication — qualities that are embedded in the company's ethos and operational approach.

Meet Chelsea Aleece

Chelsea Aleece is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in solar sales, EPC operations, and business development. Throughout her career, she has developed a reputation for excellence and is committed to delivering exceptional results to all clients.

Her background in cosmetology which transitioned into sales in 2020 followed by leading operations for an EPC has equipped her with a deep understanding of the importance of the solar and electrical industry needs. As a result of witnessing the collapse of many on the journey of success in solar, she has shifted her focus to help lead the change that is needed. Accompanying Jason, together they created Tree City Power Solutions as a real solution for the industry in Idaho and the Pacific Northwest. No more fluff, no more questionable sales tactics. Their focus is bringing transparency to the field for the sales representatives, homeowners, clients, and partners.

In her current role, Chelsea is responsible for developing a valuable operating system, through strategic partnerships, and ensuring Tree City Power Solutions continues to bring value and exceptional education for all.

In her free time, Chelsea enjoys spending every bit of free time with her two children and escaping to the river to fly fish as often as life allows.
